Building strong foundations
Early Childhood Development is a comprehensive initiative within Topsy’s Orphan and Vulnerable Children programme, designed to support physical, cognitive, social and language development.
Topsy works with local practitioners, schools and families so children can learn, grow and thrive in their communities.
What we provide
- Topsy Educational Resource Centre
- 27 early learning centres with rotational access to the hub
- Regular health checks for around 2,000 children
- Training and continuous development for 88+ ECD practitioners
- Monitoring and evaluation of training impact
- Support to 8 primary schools
- School-linked gardens providing fresh produce

Children engaged in quality ECD are more likely to show improved social and emotional development, stay in school longer and increase their earning potential later in life.
